YES ! Vista comes with Microsoft IE7 already built in and so just follow              the instruction “How to get our free search provider”

                    

  1. I do not have Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox- what can I do?

  1. I already use another search engine so are your search results as good as those from say Google, or Yahoo?

 

Choice of search engine is clearly a subjective issue, but we believe that Ask’s updated service is extremely strong. Please bear in mind that if you use the Ask to access another search engine (Google etc) you will be able to view the results, but no revenue will be generated!

 

 

  1. Can I have more than one search provider in my browser?

 

Yes, but we only benefit from your internet searching if you use our service. So please ensure we are set as your default search provider.

 

  1. I can see your organisation’s name in the search box but it disappears when I do a search – is there anything wrong?

 

                   No, the last search term you enter is kept in the box but when you

                   next open your browser our name will reappear.

 

  1. How does this service make money for the school/organisation?

 

  Some popular search terms can lead to advertising revenue being generated which is shared with the school.
